We Have Arrive

Well we arrived yesterday at 4. It was so beautiful flying in. The mountains are amazing but the tent city's were really hard to look at. I have feel so honored to be able to be here. Remembering that we can't drink the water is hard. I miss and love everyone back home. Bt we are having so much fun.

Live always,
Danie

Haiti Day 0

Life seems to be flying by me. I'm heading to Haiti tomorrow morning. I have to leave my house for the airport at 5:15 (too early for my personal taste). It still feels so unreal to me that 4 weeks ago I still had to raise 506 dollar (yes, i procrastinated on raising the money), but through the generous donations of my close friends and family i was able to raise close to 600 dollars. I can not thank everyone enough. I feel so blessed that i will be able to spend my spring break in haiti with some great friends and two of my favorite teachers. This year will be one i will never forget. I thank God everyday for the wonderful people that he has put in my life and the amazing opportunity i have been able to take advantage of. It blows my mind when i realize that Haiti will be the 10th country i have ever been in in my short 18 years of living. I can't wait to see what God has in store for be with a beginning like this.

"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity."
1 Timothy 4:12
